GMP
(GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE)
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to high quality standards. Cinnamic Since 1972 is a certified-GMP manufacturing facility. GMP covers all aspects of production, including premises, raw materials verification and contamination identification, internal audits, record keeping, personnel qualifications, sanitation, cleanliness, equipment verification, process validation, compliant handling, inventory system for both raw materials and finished products, waste management, recall processing, shipment process, and the staff training for various topics. Detailed, written procedures are crucial for each process that could affect the quality of the finished product. At Cinnamic Since 1972, we have high quality systems to provide documented proof that correct procedures are consistently followed at each step in the manufacturing process – every time a product is made. GMP is also a foundation for various quality standards, including HACCP (Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points) and ISO 9000.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organizations. Founded on 23 February 1947, the organization promotes worldwide proprietary, industrial and commercial standards.It is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and works in 162 countries.ISO 22716:2007 is a quality certification based on a standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The specification requires documentation and use of a quality management system for production, control, storage, and shipment of cosmetic products. The certification indicates that cosmetics are produced and handled in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This certification is intended for cosmetic manufacturers as well as other companies (such as raw material and packaging manufacturers) involved within the cosmetics production supply chain.Cinnamic Since 1972 is a certified ISO 22716:2007 manufacturing facility –achieving the highest quality standards from the Thailand Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for exceptional products with excellent safety.

HALAL CERTIFICATE
Muslims around the world used the word Halal for many years to describe a certain dietary regimen. The roots of the word originate from the Quran and Shariah and it typically defines how animals are slaughtered and restricts the consumption of certain animals, and alcohol. In general, everything created by God is allowed as food with some exceptions. These exceptions include pork, blood, animal meat that was not properly slaughtered, alcohol, intoxicants, and inappropriately used drugs. With regard to fish, all fish with scales are allowed but animals that live both in water and on land like frogs are not allowed.In addition to previously described restrictions, Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) and body parts/fluids are not allowed. For example, gelatin is not considered Halal if it comes from pigs or from animals that were not slaughtered properly.Halal beauty refers to products manufactured, produced, and composed of ingredients that are “permissible” under Islamic law. This means that each product must not contain any pork, animals that were dead prior to slaughtering, blood, alcohol, or carnivorous animals — these items are considered haram, which means “forbidden” in Arabic. At Cinnamic Since 1972, we have received Halal certification for high quality standards in cosmetics manufacturing and excellent safety measures.

Caution: Be very careful of cosmetics manufacturers that are using old registered numbers for their clients. Even if these registered numbers correspond to the previous master formula but the new packaging is used; therefore, a new product registration is required for a new product launch.

At Cinnamic Since 1972, we provide both stability and compatibility testing for cosmetic products. The purpose of stability testing cosmetic products is to ensure that a new or modified product meets the intended physical, chemical and microbiological quality standards as well as functionality and aesthetics when stored or transported under appropriate conditions. The compatibility test is also done to assure the compatibility between the contents and the container.
